Swing Noire brings hot swinging jazz, in the tradition of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli, to Lincoln Peak Vineyard on Friday, Sept 5, 6-8 pm. Call it what you like– Gypsy jazz, hot swing, jazz manouche– but Swing Noire transports audiences back to the early days of jazz with the energy, soul, and sophistication of the 30′s and 40′s. Violinist David Gusakov, twins Rob and Jim McCuen on guitar and double bass, and rhythm guitarist Jared Volpe make up this Hot Club-style quartet.

The grounds open for picnicking at 5:30 pm. Food for sale by Almost Home Market of Bristol. Wine sold by the glass. Admission is free. Bring lawn chairs or a picnic blanket.
