Dear Community,
We are excited to announce our first class at Goldenrose Gardens: Autumn Roots for Resilience! Herbalist and grower Erin Rosenthal will lead this fun, hands-on class geared for beginners, from teens to adults, who are interested in learning the do-it-yourself skills to support their health with herbs.
In this three hour experiential intensive, we'll engage all our senses as we learn about the cultivation, harvest and processing of roots for medicine. Bring your digging fork and take home fresh roots that you can use to make your own medicine with the skills and know-how from the workshop. We'll focus primarily on Ashwagandha, an adaptogenic herb that supports the body's ability to resist the damaging effects of stress and restore healthy function. We'll taste a variety of herbal preparations (teas, tincture, tasty bliss balls) and send you home with seeds for next year along with a comprehensive handout of notes on the topics covered.
When: Saturday, October 14th 1-4pm
Where: Goldenrose Gardens in Hardwick, VT
Cost: $75 suggested, sliding scale available. Please register by emailing Erin at cloudtorch@gmail.com
