The STOCKBRIDGE CEMETERY COMMISSION is delighted that VOCA's Tom Giffin will come to Maplewood Cemetery on the Common to teach and assist us in restoring gravestones on Oct 7, 2023 from 1 to 5 PM.
Restoring the stones is a magnificent community project and if 15 to 20 volunteer come to work, we can complete the job.
Do you happen to have a few bar-clamps and/or a tamper we would appreciate you bringing them as we are a few short.
Can't help with the tools or the actual work – not to worry!
Our volunteers would love some refreshments.
Whatever help you are able to offer will be greatly appreciated.
