It is that glorious time of year again when 110 artists open their doors at 96 sites across the state. The Vermont Crafts Council is sponsoring this free event on Saturday, September 30th and Sunday, October 1st from 10am to 5pm each day. Locally, Rising Meadow Pottery will be open and showing work that was recently fired in a wood burning kiln. Pottery students will be practicing throughout the weekend n the clay classroom. Please stop in and visit if you get a chance. Just six miles down the road at Green Hill Studios in Pawlet, Erika Schmidt will be showing her latest contemporary printmaking and college inspired by nature and interrelated phenomena.
