Join sustainable artist and poet, JC Wayne, to explore the theme of "under the surface" by writing poetry in response to the library's current exhibit of sustainable art by Landa Townsend. Landa will get us started by sharing her story and some of the materials and technique used to create her Japanese woodcut prints. With this inspiration and a tour of her colorful prints, we will use various writing prompts that expand the senses and faculties of interpretation to craft a poem.
