The Waterbury Stowe Fish and Game Club will be hosting a hunter safety education course on October 14, 2023 from 8 AM to 5 PM.

You must complete the prerequisite homework prior to the start of this course.

If you prefer workbooks and manuals, you can get copies of each mailed to your home. To request a manual and workbook contact the Hunter Education program at 802-828-1193 or email them at Huntereducation@vermont.gov
Students are encouraged to plan for approximately 20 hours to complete the homework. Students are encouraged to complete the work with a mentor if possible.
The class will follow a field day format. We'll discuss ethics, responsibility, and preparedness. We'll also have lots of hands-on training with firearms including handling, carrying, transportation, storage, and live fire. There will also be a woods walk where students will demonstrate proficiency in the above skills.
