Collective Grief Gathering

Past event
Oct 15, 2023, 3 to 5:30 PM

The climate crisis, ever-mounting injustices, and all the issues we're facing in the world can be overwhelming. But coming together with other people to be present with our feelings, and share them, can be healing.

Are you feeling bogged down by sorrow, anger, fear, anxiety, or overwhelm about the climate crisis or the state of the world? Do you wish you could feel MORE of your grief for the world and need a space to support that? Does it seem like your feelings about how things are in the world right now — or not being able to feel this — are getting in the way of your ability to take action for change? Or do you wish for communal space to honor grief together?

Come together with others to be present with the change and loss happening in the world at this time and tend our grief. We'll meet monthly and do different practices: reflection, sharing, discussion, writing, art, movement. We'll explore the power and means for moving from grief into taking action for the change that the world needs.

When: Third Sundays, monthly, 3 - 5:30 p.m. (Oct. 15, Nov. 19, Dec. 17, Jan. 21…)
