DISRUPTION. CLIMATE CHANGE. The Movie: Monday, Sept. 15 at 7 PM

The Jeudevine Memorial Library will be hosting a screening of DISRUPTION. CLIMATE CHANGE.

People all around the globe will be watching this movie about climate change. The library is hosting the movie and it will be followed by refreshments and discussion. Disruption takes an unflinching look at the devastating consequences of our inaction. The exploration lays bare the terrifying science, the shattered pol...itical process, the unrelenting industry special interests and the civic stasis that have brought us to this social, moral and ecological crossroads. The film also takes us behind-the-scenes of the efforts to organize the largest climate rally in the history of the planet during the UN world climate summit. The People's Climate March will be held on Sept. 21. The climate summit begins on Sept. 23 at the UN. Come find out ways you can help.
The film is based on writings by Bill McKibbon. Featured interviews include: Leslie Cagan, Keya Chatterjee Dr. Heidi Cullen, Dr. James Hansen,
Van Jones, Bill McKibben, Dr. Naomi Oreskes and more.
