Description: Jane Dwinell will read from their recently published book, Alzheimer's Canyon: One Couple's Reflections on Living with Dementia, tell their story, and take your questions. There are 13,000 people over age 65 in Vermont currently with a dementia diagnosis. It is a disease that touches everyone, yet there remains a stigma around talking about it. Sky, Jane's husband, did what he could to erase that stigma. He died in 2021, and since then Jane has been continuing the work that he started.
