Join the Sierra Club, Third Act Vermont, and the Green Mountain Club as we host an outing, gathering, lunch, and discussion on top of Mt Philo during the peak of Fall foliage on Saturday October 7th. We will meet at 10:45 a.m. in the lower parking lot of Mt. Philo: 5425 Mt Philo Rd, Charlotte, VT.
The hike up the mountain is just under a mile and about 600' of elevation gain. Upon arriving on top we will gather at the Lodge for lunch, casual conversation, and a talk with the Sierra Club, Third Act Vermont and the GMC regarding shared environmental initiatives. The hike and social gathering is specifically designed to accommodate those with mobility issues, so guests can drive to the top if they wish. There is an ADA-accessible path to the lodge and viewpoint.
