Join Robin Piya, local electronic music producer, at the Middlebury Community Music Center for a 2-hour introductory workshop in Digital Music Production on October 7th!

This workshop is for all students ages 13-18 who are interested in music production but don't know where to begin. It will provide an introduction to digital audio, focusing on the computer as an instrument to create, process, and perform music. Participants will get an overview of the hardware and software that form the basic building blocks of music production. We will discuss various production techniques and explore several electronic instruments. By the end of this workshop students will have a basic understanding of digital music production and be ready to continue their exploration of new frontiers of sound!
