“Are you thinking about having a yard sale? Or want to de-clutter, but don’t want the hassle of a yard sale? Central Vermont Humane Society would love your donations for our 2nd Annual Yard Sale on Sunday, September 28th 8a-2p!! The yard sale will be held indoors this year, at the Montpelier Elks Club.

Donations will be accepted on Friday, September 26th 4p-7p and Saturday, September 27th 9a-1p. Sorry, donations will NOT be accepted at any other time, nor at the CVHS shelter at any time.

In order to avoid removal fees for items that will not sell, some items may not be accepted. These include (but are not limited to): clothes, books, skis/boots, outdated baby gear, mattresses/box springs, tires, analog TVs, computers & VHS tapes.

We will again have a certified appraiser from Kelly Auction House in Boston to provide appraisals on treasured items you’ve always been curious about. The full appraisal fee goes to CVHS to benefit the animals, and it’s only $10 for the first item, $5 for each additional item (5 item limit). Please donate to help CVHS care for the animals of our communities!”
