Would you love to volunteer 1 time per week to help change a child's life? Then join us at the Barton Library on September 27, 2023, from 10:30 to 11:15 to learn about becoming a volunteer mentor with Everybody WIns! Vermont. You will learn about the fabulous reading program we run at Barton Academy & Graded School. We are a statewide, nonprofit, children's literacy and mentoring program. Our mission is to foster and grow a child's love of reading. Our mentors are not tutors but friends who share books, games, and conversations with younger readers during their lunch/recess period one day per week.

We have many 2nd and 3rd graders who are eager to participate and are waiting to be matched with mentors. Attending the information session isn't an obligation to join the program but we think once you learn about it, you'll find that becoming a mentor is the right fit for you.
