Calling all Marlboro Democrats
Saturday, Sept. 30, 11–11:30 a.m.
Whetstone Inn, 550 South Rd., Marlboro
Please consider becoming involved in the Town of Marlboro Democratic Committee.
On September 30th the Town of Marlboro Democratic Party will have its organizational meeting to form and to select officers. We are excited to joining all Vermont towns in the Vermont Democratic Party's biannual "reorg" process.
Why would you want to join a committee? What's the time commitment? Are there any requirements?
Anyone is welcome and encouraged to attend this brief initial meeting. Attendance does not commit you to anything, including voting for a candidate. It simply gives town residents who decide to join the committee a seat at the table of the Vermont Democratic Party (VDP) organization. Town committees are the foundation of the VDP, which works to elect Democratic candidates at all levels.
These committees are the local organizations that allow the party to connect with voters across the state and build social infrastructure and civic engagement. This enables people with similar values to work together to build a better, stronger Vermont.
Any registered voter who is also a Marlboro resident is qualified to join. All levels of participation are welcome. Attending the reorg meeting does not commit you to anything other than learning about more ways to be involved!
