Fall is in the air and that means for us elders that we need to make decisions on our Medicare choices. This Wednesday, September 27 at 1:30p.m. Osher Life Long Learning series at the Montpelier Senior Center Medicare specialist Christine Melicharek will inform us on this complex issue..
The federal Medicare insurance program has grown in size and complexity since it was created 50 years ago. There are now many drug plans, supplementary plans, and more recently, Medicare Advantage plans advertised broadly. Melicharek will help us understand the pluses and minuses of these various plans.
The series will continue through December 6. All presentations start at 1:30. See descriptions of the complete program at the Central Vermont OLLI website, https://learn.uvm.edu/olli/centralvt.
There's plenty of time to preregister for all 11 weekly presentations―eight talks plus three films―for $40 ($70 for two) or for individual sessions at $8 apiece. Register online or by mail to UVM OLLI. Or if you decide to drop in at the last moment, you may send a check or pay online after the fact. All the details are at https://learn.uvm.edu/olli/centralvt
Looking forward to seeing you!
