The Town of Barre Recreation Department and Vermont Land Trust are seeking volunteers to help remove invasive plant species from the Town Forest. Come out and learn how to identify and remove invasive plants from our experienced "Weed Warriors," who have been volunteering in the Spring and Fall for years to identify and remove invasive plants.

We will be meeting at the Town Waterworks located at 133 Waterman Street at 3:30pm. Volunteers will remove invasive plants identified within the Town Forest near Waterman Street and Little John Road. Food and refreshments will be provided to volunteers upon the completion of our work around 5:30pm.
