Drop by the front of the Morrisville library this Wednesday, Sept. 27, from noon to 2 PM to look at the sun through a solar telescope. See:

• Sunspots.
• Prominences (arches and pillars of hydrogen and helium larger than the Earth).
• "Filaments" – prominences seen from above.
• And possibly other features depending on what the sun is up to.

NOTE - If the sky is overcast or hazy, the weather date will be Thursday, Sept. 28, from noon to 2 PM.
