The fall series of Central Vermont Osher Life-long Learning Institute (OLLI) programs continues Wednesday, September 27, 1:30 pm, at the Montpelier Senior Activities Center with Medicare Specialist Christine Melicharek. The federal Medicare insurance program has grown in size and complexity since it was created 50 years ago. There are now many drug plans, supplementary plans, and more recently Medicare Advantage plans advertised broadly. Melicharek will help us understand the pluses and minuses of these various plans.
The series will continue through December 6. All presentations start at 1:30. See descriptions of the complete program at the Central Vermont OLLI website, https://learn.uvm.edu/olli/centralvt.
You may register for all remaining 10 weekly presentations―seven talks plus three films―for $40 ($70 for two) or for individual sessions at $8 apiece. Registration should be done online ahead of time or by mail to UVM OLLI. Or if you decide to drop in at the last moment, you may send a check or pay online after the fact.
