Noted author and historian, Marty Podskoch will talk with audience participants about the history of Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) camps and its projects in Vermont including Marshfield's own Groton State Forest.
Discussion, memories and questions are welcome and encouraged.
This special presentation is part of Marshfield's Fall Foliage Festival and celebrates the 90th anniversary of the CCC. Place: The Hap Hayward History Center (second floor of the library) at the Schoolhouse Common, 122 School St. Marshfield, VT. Time: 3 - 4 PM. Free and open to the public.
