The Management Plan for the Hogback Mountain Conservation Area covers many topics, from recreation to wildlife, from parking to invasive species. At our next meeting (7:30 pm, Wednesday, Sept 27, 2023) we'll dig into the topic of forest management. Windham County Forester Sam Schneski will share ideas from projects at other town-owned forests around the state, and we'll explore ways the committee might be able to tap Sam's expertise in developing a plan for Hogback.

HMPUC* meetings are hybrid, both in-person at the Marlboro Town Office and online via Zoom. As a sub-committee of a town commission, all our meetings are open to the public. The Zoom link can be found in the agenda, which will be posted on the town website on Monday, Sept 25. Look for it about half-way down the page devoted to the Hogback Preservation Commission (HPC).
