We're excited to announce that as of October 3rd, we are starting a new all-ages Afternoon Storytime that will take place each Tuesday at 4pm!
We've decided to offer this new time in response to parents who have told us that they'd love to come to Storytime, but are rarely if ever able to make it at 10am -- in some cases because their child always naps at that time, in other cases due to work or childcare arrangements, or other scheduling issues. We also know that as our older Storytime kids start going to preschool, kindergarten and grade school, they are no longer able to attend morning Storytime.
So in an effort to expand access -- both to families with 10am nappers or other scheduling issues, and to kids who are now in kindergarten or grade school -- we're going to try something new by launching this Tuesday Afternoon Storytime. (Don't worry, our popular Wednesday 10am Storytime will continue to take place weekly, as usual -- we're adding, not replacing!)
So whether you're completely new to Storytime at The Cobleigh, or someone who hasn't been able to make it for a while due to the 10am time, or a morning Storytime regular who just can't make it on Wednesday morning in a certain week, or someone with Storytime kids that have "graduated" to preschool, kindergarten or grade school in recent years but would still like to come enjoy the stories, songs, games and crafts at Storytime -- in other words if an Afternoon Storytime might work better for you for any reason -- then come join the fun in the Children's Room on Tuesday afternoons at 4pm, starting on October 3rd!
