Apple pressing will be happening at the Fall Fest on the Town Common behind the Hinesburg Police Station
Help make delicious fresh cider with an old fashion hand crank cider press. Bring your own washed apples either from a local orchard or from your own trees or wild ones. There are some many different flavors from the wild trees found in the woods or old pastures. These trees were specifically grown to make cider and make combinations make for great a variety of tastes. Enjoy this fall tradition with music, lawn games and other food treats.
Stone Soup will be boiling near by and your local vegetables can help make this magic soup
This soup and 6 others will be served at Stone Soup Supper along with salads, cornbread and desserts at 6pm at the United Church of Hinesburg on Rt 116.
Adults $10.00 kids under 12 free. Tickets available for purchase at www.hinesburgrec.com if you don't have an account, create one and purchase tickets online until noon on Saturday 9/23. Tickets will also be available at the door as space permits.
