Please join the Caledonia County Natural Resources Conservation District for a river clean-up this Saturday, September 23 from 9 am to 12 pm! The trash is on a sandbar in the Passumpsic, and depending on the water levels, will require a combination of wading and/or ferrying folks on canoes or kayaks a short distance across the river to access the sandbar. Life jackets are required. We will provide boats and paddles (although if you have a boat to use please let us know!).

A lot of the trash is tires, and we will provide tools for digging the tires out of the sandbar. We will also provide gloves, trash and recycling bags, and a free t-shirt!
