The Small Gallery at Valley Artisans Market will host True Nature, an exhibit by award-winning cut-paper artist Maude White from September 22 through October 17 with an opening to be held on Friday, September 22 from 5:00-7:00pm. Please join us!

What is the true nature of any living form? In her exhibit, True Nature, White explores the secret places where fantasy and reality meet. Her delicate cut-paper creations endeavor to present the sometimes fine balance between desire and yearning, delicacy and strength. The closer one comes to something the more one gains and the more one loses. Perspective brings enlightenment but also confusion. We see what we want to see. We see what we do not want to see.

True Nature invites the viewer into a space where what we desire intersects with what is present and true in the world around us.
