Patrick Cavanaugh is a long time student and assistant to Wolfe Lowenthal who is a student of Cheng Man-ch'ing and author of three classic works on Taichichuan. Patrick is an instructor of Wolfe's school, Long River Tai Chi Circle, in Vermont and New Hampshire and will be teaching the classes in Brattleboro.

The course takes one year to complete. After a student finishes the beginners' course, there are a number of advanced classes available.
