Join South Hero Land Trust and friends for a volunteer trail work party at The South Hero Recreation Park!
The Rec Park is a very important local resource: Not only is it the only ADA accessible trail in South Hero, but the trail is also home to a storywalk, the exercise station, interactive learning stations, and is frequently used by Folsom students as well as community members.
The boardwalk at the rec park is in urgent need of repair, so we'll be gathering on Thursday at 10am to replace about a dozen boards as well as some clean up work to make the trail corridor more passable.
The funding for this project comes from the South Hero Recreation Commission, who manages the park on behalf of the town.
No experience needed. We will provide tools. All are welcome, but please leave pets at home. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
