Russian Fairy Tales with Yuliya Ballou

Learn some basic Russian from Yuliya Ballou, a native Russian speaker, every first Saturday of the month at the Royalton Memorial Library!

During each program, Yuliya reads a traditional Russian fairy tale in Russian and English and helps attendees learn basic Russian words for the main characters of the story. Following the story, she shows a Russian cartoon version of the fairy tale and ends the program with a fairy-tale-related craft for children and conversation time (in Russian or English) for adults.

This month's Russian fairy tale is "The Cat and the Fox."

No prior knowledge of Russian required - program presented in Russian and English. All ages welcome. FREE!
