Hearing Loss Presentation with Complimentary Hearing Test & Hearing Aid Cleanings
Sept 19th at 1:00 p.m. at the Charlotte Senior Center
Registration suggested, but not required. Cost: Free
Join Dr. Julie Bier, Audiologist at Better Living Audiology, for a short presentation about the first signs of hearing loss and dealing with tinnitus and balance issues to help prevent falls. According to the statistics, 1 in 3 people over age 60 have hearing loss, and only about 13% of physicians routinely screen for hearing loss during a physical, so it can often go untreated. The presentation will last about 15 minutes and will be followed by a complimentary hearing screening. There will also be free cleanings of current hearing aids.
