The Plainfield Historical Society will be presenting a show, "Plainfield Remembered," during the month of September at the Blinking Light Gallery, to mark Old Home Day and Plainfield's history. The show will include numerous interesting items from the Historical Society's collection (such as clothing, beaded bags, tools, archaeological finds, and others) on display, and several items (postcards, books, and calendars) for sale. The show's opening is Friday, September 5th, from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M., which is the day before Old Home Day in Plainfield. Since there will be many things happening on Old Home Day, be sure to mark your calendars to attend this event the evening before!
The Blinking Light Gallery is a cooperative gallery featuring the work of local artists, craftspeople, writers and musicians. The Gallery's hours are Thursdays from 2 to 6 P.M., and Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M.
