Town of Plainfield Democratic Party Organizing Caucus

Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

All Plainfield Vermont Democrats are invited to this organizational caucus, which takes place every two years in the odd-numbered years. This caucus is required by Vermont law, and begins the process leading up to the 2024 elections. It is how the Democratic Party develops and adopts its public policy platform, and recruits and supports its candidates for public office.

Are you new to Plainfield? Have you just turned 18 are are now eligible to vote? Just retired and want to get involved? All are invited.

The agenda is:
1. Form the committee;
2. Elect town committee officers;
3 Elect delegates and alternates to the Washington County Democratic Committee (which, in turn, will elect delegates and alternates to the Vermont State Democratic Party).
4. Any other business.

Participants must be registered voters in the Town of Plainfield and cannot caucus with any other political party.
