New Haven Community Pollinator Garden – Plants sale – Sat., 9/16, 1-3.

Located at the New Haven Congregational Church (91 Town Hill Rd.)

Our gardens have exploded this growing season and we are having a sale to raise funds to plant even more supportive plants for our insect friends. The sale will focus on native perennial pollinator plants.

The beauty of natives is that they can survive poor quality soil and once established, need very little maintenance. Plant some of these pollinator magnets in your garden this fall in place of your lawn. You will be supporting the health of our local pollinators, benefiting your vegetable garden and especially helping the planet. All plants in the sale are represented in the New Haven Community Pollinator Garden, so come visit and see what they could look like in yours within 2 years. Free collected seeds will be given out.
