This Saturday, September 16th is the 12th Annual RockFire FireWalk event. The event takes place from 6pm till Midnight on private land and within the Town Forest. The portion of the event within the Town Forest loops from the 44 Brook Street parking lot to the Grand lookout trail and back. The Grand lookout trail is not a part of the Town Forest. Follow event signage. As a result of the event, there may be higher volumes of traffic at the Town Forest parking lot at 44 Brook Street. Exercise and yield caution when entering and exiting the parking lot.

If you are seeking alternative parking to use the Town Forest during the day, prior to the event, consider parking at our Barclay Quarry Road parking lot or the small informal lot off Little John Road.
