On Thursday, September 21 at 1:30 PM the Community Senior Center is offering a field trip to the East Monitor Barn which is being restored by the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps and Building Heritage.

We'll visit the barn, hear from the lead restorationist and VYCC staff about the barn's history and how it's being restored. This will be a fully outdoor event.

After a brief presentation, there will be an option to don a hard hat and enter the construction site to get up close to the barn. If you plan to enter the construction site, please be sure to wear suitable footwear.

This will be followed by a Q&A session. There will be limited restrooms and limited parking. If you wish to carpool, plan on meeting others at the Town Center parking lot at 1:15. The East Monitor Barn is located at 2083 East Main Street, Richmond.
