Jane Steward, founder and owner of Eastgate Larder, the UK 's only medlar focused business and author of the book "Medlars: Growing & Cooking," will be at Scott Farm this Saturday to offer a 'walk, talk and taste'.

There will be copies of the book available to buy which can be signed by the author. All sale proceeds will go to Scott Farm.

There will be tasting jars of medlar jelly and spicy medlar chutney to show a couple of ways that this
forgotten fruit may be used in the kitchen.
