BOWLATHON MAKES A TRIUMPHANT RETURN TO BENEFIT VERMONTERS WITHOUT HEALTH INSURANCE

BARRE, VT – The People's Health and Wellness Clinic (PHWC) is thrilled to announce the triumphant return of the Bowlathon, a beloved fundraising event that has been sorely missed since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This eagerly anticipated event will once again bring the community together for a morning of fun and camaraderie, all while supporting the vital mission of providing healthcare services to Vermonters without health insurance.

After a three-year hiatus, the Bowlathon is back and better than ever, scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 4 from 9-11 AM at Twin City Family Fun Center in Berlin, VT. This exciting event promises to be a day filled with striking success for a great cause.

There are several ways you can support this important fundraising effort:

Sponsor the event. PHWC is soliciting sponsors at a number of financial levels for the event, allowing the nonprofit to offer free bowling to participants.

Donate a prize or gift. A hallmark of the event is the continuous prizes that are given out to bowlers and other participants. Area businesses are encouraged to donate prizes that range in cost form $10 to $1,000 to benefit the clinic.

Register as a player or a bowling team. PHWC hopes to fill all 18 lanes at the bowling alley for this special event. Registration is now open at www.phwcvt.org

The Bowlathon has long been a staple in our community, raising critical funds to ensure that no Vermonter goes without access to essential healthcare services. In light of the ongoing healthcare challenges posed by the pandemic and the recent flooding in Central Vermont, the need for these services is greater than ever before. PHWC remains committed to its mission of providing high-quality medical care, regardless of a patient's ability to pay.
