Vermont Youth Cycling, a state-wide youth mountain bike league, will host a race at Cochran's this Saturday. Youth mountain bikers in grades 5-12 are encouraged to register. The race will follow an enduro format in which only the downhill segments count. Youth will have the opportunity to be guided through the stages by adult ride "chaperones" if they are new to racing, and especially if they're new to racing enduro.

UnTapped will be on site serving up maple creemees for all participants! VTYC races are a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. Through fun and safe interscholastic group rides and races, VTYC aims to educate and empower young riders to improve their skills and health while building both a stewardship ethic for the trails and a caring community.
