Saturday, September, 27nd – The 17th annual Run for JUMP will be held at 9:00 am at North Beach - free parking, with registration beginning at 8am. The family fun event includes a 5K run, 1K run for kids and 1K walk along the scenic Burlington Bike Path. Great prizes and raffle drawings will be awarded, along with age group awards! The proceeds from the race benefit JUMP. This year, JUMP celebrates 26 years as a highly valued Vermont community resource, providing compassionate care, practical assistance and informed referrals to thousands of Vermont children and adults annually. In 2013, Jump assisted 3000 households. Over $117,000 worth of vouchers and food gift cards, along with 5,000 lbs of food and toiletries, were distributed to JUMP clients from our drop-in center in downtown Burlington.
