NOTICE OF THE RIPTON, VERMONT PROGRESSIVE PARTY TOWN CAUCUS
Saturday, September 30 at 11:00 AM at the Ripton Community House
This is a notification to Ripton voters of the Ripton Progressive Party Town Caucus which will be held on Saturday, September 30 at 11:00 AM at the Ripton Community House.
Every other year the political parties in Vermont must reorganize at the town, county and state level. This biennial reorganization begins with the town caucuses.
At this caucus we will elect a chair, a vice-chair, a secretary and a treasurer. We will also elect four delegates to the Addison County Committee. The caucus will last no more than, and probably less than, one hour. There will be refreshments.

We need to keep the Vermont Progressive Party strong and growing. There are vital issues that we all are concerned with – public education; universal healthcare administered as a public good; more affordable housing; reducing the power of corporate interests in State government; reduction in economic inequity; gender equity; saving the natural environment – to mention a few. These will remain in greater focus in the State House as the presence and voice of the VPP in Montpelier grows. Please encourage other Ripton voters to attend this caucus.
