Hey neighbors! Burlington Silent Book Club September meet-up is happening on Sunday, 9/24 from 1-3pm at the Burlington waterfront (rain location: Zero Gravity).

This is not a traditional book club -- instead of reading and discussing the same book, everyone brings whatever book they're reading to hang out and read companionably. This is Vermont's first Silent Book Club chapter (it's a national movement that's growing rapidly). All are welcome! Here's how it goes down:

-1:00-1:30 - Get settled, grab a drink/seat, and chat with the group!
-1:30-2:30 - Quiet time to read the book you brought (this is basically a reading flash mob)
-2:30-3:00 - Stick around to chat more. Or, keep reading. Or, feel free to head out! You can choose your own adventure here
