Local musician Chandler Poling will be offering a six week, 1 hour weekly course on learning the ukulele, presented by the Rupert Village Trust. The classes will start Sunday, October 1 and run through November 5. All classes are from 2:30pm - 3:30pm at the Sheldon Store in Rupert; the cost is $60 for six lessons.
This class is for beginners but more experienced players will also find something new to learn. Each week you will learn a new song, a new musical concept and a new technique. The lessons are designed to maximize your enjoyment of music and the ukulele. The class is limited, so sign up soon through the Rupert Village Trust website at www.rupertvillagetrust.org/events.
The instructor, Chandler Poling, has been teaching private guitar and ukulele students from his home in Shaftsbury Vermont for several years.
