The weather is turning to sunny days, cool nights, and a change of leaves ~ a signal that Indigenous Peoples' Day weekend is fast approaching.

The 4th Annual Indigenous Peoples' Day Rocks (IPD Rocks) celebration will take place on the Town's Events Fields on Saturday, October 7th (rain date October 8th) and will celebrate indigenous music, art, culture, and education.

Are you curious about porcupine quilling, beading, ash pounding, native foods, or the tribe's buffalo herd? Yes, indigenous Vermonters raise buffalo! There will be beautiful Abenaki artisan crafts and products, demonstrators, drummers, and dancers. The entire community is invited to attend IPD Rocks named by the Vermont Chamber as a top 10 Fall event, with international performing artist and Blues Hall of Fame musician Joe Louis Walker returning to the stage along with Vermont's own Dave Keller Band!
