This Sunday, 9/10, Charlotte Congregational Church (an open and affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ) will begin our new program year on what we call, "Gathering Sunday." All wanted and welcome.
Schedule:
- 9:30-10am: Sunday School registration and snacks on the newly renovated playground.
- 10-11am: Worship service with new member ceremony. Our music will be provided by our excellent music director, Cameron Bronwell who will direct our church choir as it begins the new program year. Vermont Symphony Orchestra musicians, Jane Kittredge and Ben Lively will join us. Rev. Kevin Goldenbogen will deliver a message and Rev. Susan Cooke Kittredge will lead our prayer time. - 10:20-11am: Sunday School held for children and youth of all ages. Nursery care is available.
- 11am: time with snacks and beverages after the service for all to eat, drink, chat and play.
- 11am: interested youth and adults will drive to Burlington to participate in the annual PRIDE parade. Parade begins at noon: https://www.pridecentervt.org/pride/

- Sunday services are held each week at 10am. All are welcome, come as you are, wear what you want
- Youth Groups (5-8 and 9-12) meet on various days and at various times. September/October offerings include volunteering at Kelly Brush Ride, walking in PRIDE parade, serve dinner at Salvation Army, game night, harvesting crops in Starksboro at the New Community Project and a few surprises.
- Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 7-8pm. Singers of all experience and skill levels invited!
- First Tuesday Social Justice Suppers - 5:30-6:30 pm in our fellowship hall. On 9/5 bring your own light dinner to our vestry building and discuss how to engage the many social injustices of our time.
