WEBINAR: "Everything is Connected to Everything: Improving the Healthcare of Autistic & ADHD Adults"
Tues 9/19
6-7PM ET - Zoom
During this webinar, Melissa Houser, M.D. will describe the pattern of intertwined medical problems commonly experienced by neurodivergent patients (i.e., hypermobility, dysautonomia, mast cell activation syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome, migraine, sleep disorders, and more). We will also introduce a new free resource intended to help patients and clinicians work through these problems together, and give practical tips on how to use this.
Tickets available by donation. 100% of donations support neurodivergent kids and adults to participate in social connection programs at no cost to them.
Background
Autistic adults have an average life expectancy of 36-54 years. ADHD adults are 4 times more likely to die prematurely. We believe that this project can help Autistic and ADHD people live longer, healthier lives.
All Brains Belong recently released our "Everything is Connected to Everything: Improving the Healthcare of Autistic & ADHD Adults" project. These resources are intended to help bridge the gap between patients and clinicians to work through the intertwined medical conditions commonly afflicting Autistic and ADHD people. In the past 2 weeks, more than 1,000 people have accessed these resources.
