Our Fall outing will be taking place on Sunday, September 24th at 8:00am at the Catamount Outdoor Family Center in Williston: https://catamountoutdoor.org/ This location has a gorgeous mix of habitats, and we can hope to see year-round regulars, late summer stragglers, and fall migrants! Our pace will be casual over this terrain which is unpaved, with little elevation gain expected. A bird sit will also be available for those looking for a more relaxed option. There are portable all gender and wheelchair accessible restrooms and water available at this location. Plenty of water, a snack, a portable chair if you like to rest, binoculars, and bug spray are recommended. In light of increasing COVID-19 numbers in Chittenden county, masks and social distancing are encouraged.
We will have binoculars to loan out if needed, as well as plenty of field guides to look through.
Your suggested donation of $10 will be split between the center and Outright Vermont. Donations will be accepted through Venmo and cash.
