Dear Valued Waitsfield Town Democratic Committee Members:

Our 2023 Waitsfield Town Democratic Committee Reorganization is scheduled for Tuesday September 19th, 2023 at 5:00 PM at the Joslin Memorial Library (ground floor). As you know this reorganization process is required by 17 V.S.A. 2303.

This caucus gives us the opportunity to participate in our democracy at a very personal, grassroots level. We need your vote to elect the 2023 Slate of Officers for the Waitsfield Town Democratic Committee and to select three delegates to participate in voting at the Washington County level. Please RSVP by replying to this e-mail or by calling me at one of the phone numbers listed below.

We want to be sure Waitsfield is well-represented. Your vote matters and I look forward to seeing each of you on Tuesday, September 19 at 5:00 PM. Think about a friend or two or three to invite. Remember, there are only two requirements to be a member of a Democratic town committee:
• Must be a registered voter of the town where the committee is organizing
• Cannot organize with any other political party's committee
I also look forward to hearing about what matters to you as we contemplate what lies ahead for us in the 2024 election, approaching more quickly than we like!
