Essex CHIPS is hosting the documentary film, Our American Family at Essex Experience on October 3. Essex CHIPS has its roots in prevention work and we are bringing a powerful documentary and discussion with Linda Geraghty, the matriarch of the family featured in, Our American Family as part of the film's educational screening tour. We hope that by bringing this film to Chittenden County we will spark healthy, honest conversations that raise awareness, promote understanding and de-stigmatize addiction and recovery. The film humanizes the disease of addiction and opens a safe space for honest conversation and reflection.
