On Saturday morning, September 16th, CVFRS will host a special "express" version of its standard First Aid class to serve as an introduction for those who want to improve their understanding of how to respond to first aid emergencies but do not require certification. This 90 minute course will teach a set of basic skills and overview a range of injury and medical emergencies and how you should respond.

Skills covered will include correct use of personal protective equipment, use of an epi-pen, how to deal with bleeding emergencies including use of a tourniquet and many more first aid situations.
