The Wallingford Historical Society is having a special program on The Covered Bridges of Nicholas Powers presented by his great, great, great grandson, A. Nicholas Strom-Olsen.

One of the covered bridges was located on Rt. 140 where the metal bridge now stands. It was built in 1859 and dismantled in 1949. The bridge was also said to be haunted. Why? Come to our program to find out facts and tidbits. Learn some history of Wallingford. Through the Hist. Soc. we preserve the past for future generations.
