On Wednesday, 9/13, the second lecture in the Lamoille Valley/UVM OLLI fall semester series will take place at the Stowe Cinema 3Plex at 1PM. Lectures last approximately one hour and include time for Q&A.
The lecture entitled "Mental Health, Substance Use, and Why You Need To Know About It" will be presented by Lila Bennett, Ex. Dir. of the Journey to Recovery Center and author of two self-help books and will focus on addiction and how it often starts, what it often looks like in daily life of the person, for family members, and for the community.
The charge for the series is $45/person for the complete 8 lecture series or $8 for each lecture. Payment cannot be made at the site, but forms will be available there for payment direct to UVM.
