The Duxbury Historical Society holds its annual fundraising event, the Let's Make a Deal Yard and Bake Sale on Saturday, September 9th from 8-3:30, at its headquarters at the South Duxbury Church across from Harwood Union Middle/High School. The sale features many first-time sale items including housewares, tools, linens, kitchen gadgets, books, games, arts and crafts, and much more donated by community and society members. There will also be a bake sale section. Most items are not priced. Instead, buyers "make a deal." Some more valuable items may be marked with a suggested donation as a starting point for that process.

Proceeds from the sale support the historical society's programs and care of the church property that it acquired in 2022.
